here are a few frames from a one minute film I did last week.
with our RED camera, we shot an actor running in different locations through our city, and in post-production I had to place some fantasy elements that would grew up while he was running. There was a lot of (tedious) rotoscoping work, as well as camera matching, 3d modeling, texturing, lighting and compositing.
It was quite a challenge to finish this on time, doing all the stuff myself, but I was lucky to find some helpful guys on the way.
this is an intro that me and Fred did a couple of months ago. It's for english classes distributed via satellite. The concept is to show the journey the student has through different foreign elements when learning the language, and to reinforce the ideia that this elements are built in the Wise4U dna.
this is my entry for the 5 Second Project, from GreyScaleGorilla, which theme was "Straight lines only".
concept: what defines a straight line? two points, A and B. but this rule isn't always so easy to follow, and even in a world of straight lines we may find an alternative path.
Frames of a new vignette I did last week, or better saying, couple of days.
3D and compositing done all by myself. There's always room for improvement, but since I had to manage it entirely alone, I'm fairly happy with the result.
The art was made by Bruno Regalo, from our in-house agency Yeah!.
I was asked to develop a 3D visualization for the brand new packs of Proalimentar's Fruit and Fit crackers, so the client could see in advance how the pack would looks like when produced. The art was designed by Ricardo Oliveira.
the campaign was made by Ricardo de Oliveira, who asked me to develop the 3D elements to support the concept he had proposed, as well as visualize a tree of boxes decorating the inside of a zon store. The proposal consists in many more materials, and this board aims to present my role in the process. You'll probably be able to see more of this in Ricardo's website soon.
As I've received a really great feedback from my first "Lost?" video, and hearing my girlfriend idea, I've decided to put an ending point in this epic story.
this was my first "real" job at MindsetFilms, done with Frederico Freire. We are both responsible for the MindsetFilm's 3D and PostProduction department.
These clip was shot at our studio, on a green screen, with our RED one camera. Fred did the direction, Eduardo Crivella did the lighting, Adriano Figueiredo and Fernando Navarrete operated the camera.
I was responsible of 3D tracking, as well as every aspect related to 3D process, since modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, till rendering management. Fred did the other tracks in 2D and the final compositing. We had a great help from Josemar Vargas, who gave his noble contribution at the beginning of the compositing phase.
It was a lot of work but, although we felt that if we had more time we could've done more, the result was very positive.
